Holiday Lighting Made Easy in Metro-Denver and Along the Colorado Front Range

Residential Christmas Lighting

Fall is in the air and in recent weeks, a few snowflakes as well. Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Colorado is your full-service design and installation contractor for holiday and Christmas-lighting decorations. We specialize in residential, commercial, and municipal outdoor and holiday lighting projects. In addition, we have the products and materials to provide interior decorating services as well with our full line of wreaths, garlands, decorated trees, bows etc. to make any interior a festive space during the holidays.

While OLP of Colorado can also do the standard C7 and C9 design treatments (incandescent or LED) that everyone else provides, we like to provide our customers additional options to set their house, business, or community apart from all the rest with truly unique designs and light treatments. Our LightLinks products provide unique designs such as snow flakes, Christmas stockings, bow and swag, etc. to truly highlight your house or business.

For decorating trees, we can light them with LED multi-color starbursts or oversized lighted sculptures that will make them a highlight of your neighborhood. For commercial spaces, we can also provide large lighted sculptures to promote the holiday cheer and make your business a focal point.

Holiday Commercial Sculpture

OLP of Colorado provides full service design, installation, take-down and storage services for our holiday lighting customers. However, if you are a do-it-yourselfer, we can also sell you any product on a retail basis as well.

Turn Your Outdoor Living Area into a Year-Round Fiesta with Permanent Festival Lighting

Nighttime View of Festival Lighting in Denver Courtyard

Outdoor Lighting Perspectives just completed a truly fun and unique lighting installation – festival lighting for a courtyard at a downtown Denver townhome. The five strands of line voltage festival lights used a total of 44 bulbs (11W each) to span the courtyard between the townhome and its garage at the rear of the property.

With the installation of a 1000W dimmer switch, the lights are now controlled manually and can be dimmed to the desired setting to establish the mood for a party or to just relax at the end of a long day.  To support the weight of the electrical wiring and bulbs, stainless steel aircraft cable was first installed for each of the five spans.

Most area residents have seen festival lighting used in Larimer Square and the Denver Pavilions, but may not have considered it for their own properties and outdoor living spaces. Through the use of commercial-grade lighting products and professional installation, now homeowners can truly enjoy this very cheerful lighting at their own homes as well.

Another first at this installation was seeing the live birth of kittens when an alley cat took up temporary residence in one of the homeowner’s large pots on the courtyard. So I guess even alley cats cannot resist the ambience and warm glow of festival lights!

Color Lens Covers For Your Landscape Lighting Fixtures Make Christmas Decorating A Snap

Example of Color Lens Covers

Would you rather be watching a football game instead of dragging Christmas lights and extension cords all over your front yard in the snow? If you already own a landscape lighting system, you’re now in luck. Multi-color acrylic lens covers are available that will install over your existing well lights. The lens covers are available in green, red, dark blue, light blue, amber, purple and orange. In addition, color lens covers are also available for MR16 spot lighting fixtures and color LED bi-pin bulbs are available for path lights.

Red Lens Covers Used on Well Lights by Front Entrance

Red lens covers work exceptionally well on brick, stone and light-colored stucco. Green lens covers work very well on pine and spruce trees, some deciduous trees, and light-colored stucco. Of course, dark blue and orange lens covers are available to show your support of the Denver Broncos. Some college alumni like to select lens covers in their school’s colors to highlight their home during the college football bowl season. It’s fun and easy to mix and match different color effects from one season to the next. And, some of our customers use the orange lens covers during Halloween, in addition to showing their support for the Denver Broncos.

Whatever your holiday lighting needs (from color lens covers to a complete turnkey Christmas lighting design and installation), Outdoor Lighting Perspectives still has available inventory to get your home ready in time for the holiday season.

Cody the Airedale Says That It’s Starting to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Cody – Santa Claus

With two snow storms during the last week, Cody the Airedale, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives’ (OLP) Director of Security and Fun, says that it’s starting to look a lot like Christmas. In fact, OLP and many other Colorado contractors have already started to install Christmas lights for homes, businesses and communities – in preparation for the lights to be turned on during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Is your home going to be ready for the holidays? OLP’s holiday lighting service includes the design, installation, take down and storage of dazzling holiday displays. In other words, your holiday lighting will magically appear year after year without you having to climb ladders ever again.

Along with a digital photo of your house, we can use our holiday lighting software to show you how your house will look after dark with the design in place.

OLP has the latest in LED technology including snowfall lights, LightLinks, wreaths and garland, mini-lights, C7s and C9s, and amazing 3D sculptures of all sizes. If you prefer the look of the traditional incandescent lighting, we can provide that as well.

If you are a do-it-yourselfer, we can also sell any of these products on a retail basis – and many of these products can be seen at our main office. A very important thing to assess at this time is whether your home or business has available and easily accessible outlets that have remaining capacity to handle the additional load of the holiday lighting.

If we can help you with any of your holiday lighting needs, please give us a call or send us an email.

How can you enjoy Christmas lighting without all of the hassles?

Christmas Lighting Made Easy

Outdoor Lighting Perspectives (OLP) of Colorado and OLP national have expanded its Christmas and holiday lighting services this year as reflected in our new corporate website. There you will see our emphasis on exterior lighting – residential, commercial, as well as  holiday.

With the Christmas and holiday lighting, you can see examples of the designs, products, and installations using our truly unique and high quality LED and incandescent products. In addition, you can even upload a daytime photo of your house, and we can provide you with a nighttime computer-generated design and quote for what one of our design, installation, take down, and storage packages would run on an annual basis.
Nighttime Simulation of Christmas Lighting Design

This concept is similar to our company’s concept of providing evening lighting demonstrations for our landscape and architectural lighting projects. This eliminates any guesswork and the customer actually gets to see what the lighting would look like prior to making a decision.  An example of what the actual Christmas lighting installation (in Castle Pines Village) looks like, can be seen below.

Enjoy the wonderful holiday season!
